I am a graduate student in the Systems Science PhD Program at Portland State University.
Currently I am at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, doing my PhD research work in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
I am also currently searching for postdoc positions in various areas of Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Systems Biology. My CV is available here.

Research Interests

Bioinformatics and Computational Biology
My main areas of research have been in gene expression analysis and mining of literature for functional information. You can find an outline of my PhD research here.

Other Research Projects

While at Portland State University, I was working on the following research projects:

Dynamical Systems - JOVE
Development and Application of Seasonal Hidden Filter Hidden Markov Models (SHFHMMs).

Evolutionary Simulations
Evolutionary Simulations with various models, among them John Holland's Echo model.
Quantification of adaptive change in these models and comparison to models of neutral evolution.

Neural Networks
Self Organizing Maps for modeling of dynamical systems.

Information Theoretic Structural Modeling
