Andrew M. Fraser was granted a Bachelor's degree in Physics by Princeton in 1977. From 1977 until 1981 he worked at Fairchild Semiconductor where as Supervising Design Engineer, he was instrumental in developing Fairchild's fused emitter PROM. The University of Texas at Austin granted him a Ph.D. in Physics in 1988. His dissertation work was an information theoretic approach to the analysis of chaotic time series. At Portland State, he has been on the faculty of Systems Science Ph.D. Program since 1989 and on the EE faculty since 1992.
